Trelovanta
Privacy

We collect only the data needed to operate the service.

This page explains in detail how Trelovanta processes data during anonymous browsing, contact and administration, including cookies and third-party tools. Last updated: 25 July 2026.

01

Who operates Trelovanta

Trelovanta is operated by Radouane Manouar. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].

02

Public browsing

Reading public content — destinations, places, itineraries and articles — requires no account and does not start a session or set an application cookie. The server may process technical information needed to deliver the page and keep it secure.

03

Email contact

The Contact page displays our email address. When you write to us directly, we process the content of your message and your email address so we can reply. The site does not use a contact form that stores submissions on the server.

04

Administration and editorial access

Signing in to the editorial administration area creates a necessary session cookie (trelovanta_session) that authenticates the authorised user and protects editorial functions against unauthorised requests (CSRF protection). This cookie is not created during ordinary browsing.

05

Technical and security information

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser type and security events for operation, diagnostics and abuse prevention.

06

Google Analytics and Tag Manager

Trelovanta uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (gtag) to measure site usage, such as pages visited, approximate location, device type and how the site is used. These tools may process technical identifiers and information about how the site is used. Learn more on Google’s partner-sites information page.

07

Advertising and social media measurement

Trelovanta uses, or plans to use, the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and similar measurement tools from other social media platforms to measure the effectiveness of our presence on those platforms and to support advertising. These tools may process technical identifiers, device information and actions taken on the site, and may share this information with the relevant platform for measurement and advertising purposes.

08

Advertising to fund the site

Trelovanta plans to display advertising, for example through Google AdSense or similar advertising networks, to help fund independent travel content. Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to select, measure and limit the ads shown to you.

09

Hosting and security infrastructure

We use infrastructure and security providers, including Cloudflare, to deliver pages, protect against abuse and improve reliability. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for more information.

10

Purposes and legal bases

Information may be processed for the following purposes: operating and securing the site, authenticating access to administration, measuring usage and advertising effectiveness where permitted, displaying advertising, responding to enquiries and meeting legal obligations. The legal basis is typically a legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, necessity to fulfil a request, or consent where required by law.

11

Data sharing

Trelovanta does not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with infrastructure, security, measurement, social media and advertising partners only to the extent needed to operate, measure or fund the service, or where required by law.

12

International processing

Some service providers (such as Google, Meta or Cloudflare) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, recognised transfer mechanisms and safeguards are used.

13

Retention

An administration session ends automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity, or after 8 hours at the latest from sign-in. Operational and security logs are kept only as long as necessary for security and diagnostics. Measurement data follows the relevant provider’s retention settings.

14

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent. Send requests to [email protected]. You can also manage personalised advertising choices directly in your Google and Meta account settings. You may also lodge a complaint with your data-protection supervisory authority.

15

Children

Trelovanta is general travel content and is not intentionally directed at young children.

16

Security

We use HTTPS, secure and protected session cookies, CSRF protection and other technical safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

17

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site, its providers or legal obligations change. The current version is always available on this page.
